A family company, owned by David Lythgoe.

First founded around 1911, Adam Lythgoe Ltd commenced trading as Agricultural Merchants supplying farmers in the North West of England, before later branching out into quarrying, supplying and spreading various grades of lime to farmers in England Scotland and Wales.

The Shell Green Estate, at Widnes, was originally purchased in 1964 and buildings were erected to produce a specialist range of agricultural fertilisers specifically for grassland farmers.

The Gartshore Building, on the harbour at Perth, was purchased as a base to import fertilisers and lime to, for onward distribution throughout Scotland.

In recent years, these sites have been converted into warehouses and office units, which are tenanted out.

The name was changed to Adam Lythgoe (Estates) Ltd to reflect this new direction. As Landlords and Industrial Property Owners, we generally do not use agents and we much prefer to talk to our tenants directly.

This means that we can deal with matters as and when they arise and on a daily basis.

We are contactable by tenants 24 hours per day and 7 days per week throughout the year
